If your flight is delayed, you can join the wait list for the next scheduled shuttle ride. Spaces are only guaranteed for your scheduled ride.
Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport exit with a sign with our logo and your name on it. You will be able to identify your driver in a black "Belize Ground Shuttle" polo or a white "San Pedro Belize Express" shirt. We'll advise you before your travel date.
You should book your shuttle as soon as you have booked your flight and you know your arrival time. Don't wait for last minute because the shuttle may not be available.
No, this is not allowed. We cannot take walk-on passengers as per airport rules. Only taxi cabs are allowed to take walk-on passengers. You must book online, even if you're already at the airport. Use the free wifi and complete your booking first.
No, for safety reasons the drivers are not allowed to take cash. All bookings must be paid online. This ensures that you don't need to bring exact change, and that your price doesn't change on the spot. However, the driver can take credit card payment, or you can ask him to send you a payment request and you can pay using the free shuttle wifi.
You are not required to tip your driver. However, a gratuity would be appreciated by your driver if you feel that we provided exceptional service to you.
Base fare includes ONE checked in a suitcase, ONE carry-on size bag, and ONE personal size bag per paid passenger. Additional pieces of luggage are $5 per piece if prepaid or $7 if paid to the driver. We will NOT guarantee additional luggage will be accommodated unless prepaid.

Thank you for choosing Belize Ground Shuttle for your ground shuttle needs! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and apply to all reservations made through our website, phone, or email. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Reservations:
  • To reserve a shuttle, you must provide all necessary details, including your name, contact information, number of passengers, pickup and drop-off locations, date, time, and flight number (if necessary).
  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • This shuttle service is shared and may include other passengers
  • Shared shuttle services are subject to schedule changes. We will provide updates via email or text/WhatsApp.
  • Your shuttle will be fulfilled by either Belize Ground shuttle or San Pedro Belize Express
Shared Rates:
Our shared shuttle service offers two rate options:
  • Standard Shared Rate: This is the default option and guarantees a departure time for your group size. You will pay a set rate based on the number of people in your group.
  • Discounted Shared Rate (Limited Availability): This option offers a lower fare but comes with some flexibility requirements. It depends on potentially filling the remaining seats with passengers from other bookings, and may be subject to adjustments:
  • Departure Time: Your departure time might need to be adjusted to accommodate other passengers' flight schedules or unforeseen circumstances like weather delays. We will make all reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible of any changes.

Group Size: In rare instances, if there aren't enough passengers at the discounted rate to fill the remaining seats, you may be required to pay the standard shared rate for your group size to proceed with the trip. We will notify you as soon as possible of this situation and offer alternative options, such as:
- Accepting the new departure time.
- Upgrading to the standard shared rate for your group size (subject to availability).
- Canceling your reservation and receiving a full refund.

Payment:
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept the following payment methods:
  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit card

Standard Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation Policy:
  • Full Refund (minus 3% credit card fee): Cancellations made 48 hours or more before departure time.
  • Partial Refund (75% refund + 3% credit card fee): Cancellations made within 48 hours or less before departure time.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 12 hours or same day of departure time (Applicable to no-shows.)

Rescheduling Policy:
  • Rescheduling requests generally require a minimum of 12 hours notice.
  • No additional fees apply for rescheduling to a different time on the same day once you paid the guaranteed shared rate for your group.
  • Rescheduling to a different date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An additional fee may apply depending on availability.


Flight Delays:
  • Minor Delays (under 15mins): The shuttle can likely wait until all passengers are onboard.
  • Major Delays (+15mins): We may need to reschedule you to the next available shuttle time. Rescheduling fees may be applicable.

Disclaimer
  • Unexpected delays: We strive to provide a safe and reliable service. However, we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic congestion, weather conditions ect.
  • Disruptive or abusive passengers: We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a safety risk. are not qualified for a refund once service is refused.
  • Natural Disasters or Illness: If your travel plans are affected by a natural disaster or illness, we understand the need for flexibility. To qualify for rescheduling or a refund, please notify us at least 12 hours before your scheduled departure.
  • Refund Timeframe: A refund takes 3-10 business days to reflect on the orignal form or payment.
  • No Shows: Passengers who don’t notify us at least 2 hours before their scheduled pick-up or are 15+ minutes late without notifying us.
  • Luggage: 1 suitecase + 1 carry on per passenger. Additional luggage is $5us per item.
