If your flight is delayed, you can join the wait list for the next scheduled shuttle ride. Spaces are only guaranteed for your scheduled ride. Contact us for your available options.
Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport exit with a sign with our logo and your name on it. You will be able to identify your driver in a black Belize Ground Shuttle polo.
Your Flores shuttle does include hotel drop off. However your San Ignacio shuttle offers hotel drop off at an additional fee of $5 per person. To keep prices low and give you flexibility, our base rate includes drop off to a central location in downtown San Ignacio. Sometimes it is cheaper to take a local taxi or walk to your hotel. For your convenience, we are able to drop you off at your hotel for the extra fee. This can be added to your booking, or it can be arranged and paid to the driver. Hotels out of town may incur additional fees.
You should book your shuttle as soon as you have booked your flight and you know your arrival time. Don't wait for last minute because the shuttle may not be available.
No, this is not allowed. We cannot take walk-on passengers as per airport rules. Only taxi cabs are allowed to take walk-on passengers. You must book online, even if you're already at the airport. Use the free wifi and complete your booking first.
No, for safety reasons the drivers are not allowed to take cash. All bookings must be paid online. This ensures that you don't need to bring exact change, and that your price doesn't change on the spot. However, we can take credit card payment, or you can ask him to send you a payment request and you can pay using the free shuttle wifi.
You are not required to tip your driver. However, a gratuity would be appreciated by your driver if you feel that we provided exceptional service to you.
Base fare includes ONE checked in a suitcase, ONE carry-on size bag, and ONE personal size bag per paid passenger.
Additional pieces of luggage are $5 per piece if prepaid or $7 if paid to the driver. We will NOT guarantee additional luggage will be accommodated unless prepaid.
Any traveler leaving Belize via any crossing to Guatemala or Mexico (Terrestrial or Marine) are required to pay a mandatory Border Development Fee” of $2.50 (Belize Dollars), conservation fee of Belize $7.50 (Belize Dollars) and the Belize Departure Tax of $30.00 (Belize Dollars) for a total of Belize $40.00 or US20. Payable only on Belize border exit.
Guatemala does not charge an official entry fee for Americans or other nationalities at its land borders. (Terrestrial)
Tikal Go is our trusted partner who would be transporting you in Guatemala. Feel free to ask about the Tikal tours available.
As you exit the Belize border station, please look for your TikalGo driver. Look for a sign with your name or "Belizing.com" and the TikalGo logo on their shirt. Your TikalGo guide will assist you with processing at the Guatemala border station. If needed, you can show them your booking confirmation attached.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
- Cancellations made 15 days before will be fully refunded except for a service fee of 3%.
- Cancellations made 7 days before will be refunded 70% of the amount paid.
- Cancellations made at a later date will not be refunded.
Belize Ground Shuttle Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Belize Ground Shuttle for your ground shuttle needs! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and apply to all reservations made through our website, phone, or email. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Reservations:
- To reserve a shuttle, you must provide all necessary details, including your name, contact information, number of passengers, pickup and drop-off locations, date, time, and flight number (if necessary).
- All Flores bookings consist of a vehicle swap at the western border.
- Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
- This shuttle service is shared and may include other passengers
- Shuttle services are subject to schedule changes. We will provide updates via email or text/WhatsApp.
Payment:Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit card
Standard Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation Policy:
- Full Refund (minus 3% credit card fee): Cancellations made 7 days or more before departure time.
- No Refund: Cancellations made within 6 days of departure time or for no-shows.
Rescheduling Policy:
- Rescheduling requests generally require a minimum of 12 hours notice.
- No additional fees apply for rescheduling to a different time on the same day once you paid the guaranteed shared rate for your group.
- Rescheduling to a different date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An additional fee may apply depending on availability.
Disclaimer
- Belize Departure Tax: $20usd per persons to be paid in cash at the border. Not included in your rate.
- Unexpected delays: We strive to provide a safe and reliable service. However, we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic congestion, weather conditions ect.
- Disruptive or abusive passengers: We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a safety risk. are not qualified for a refund once service is refused.
- Natural Disasters or Illness: If your travel plans are affected by a natural disaster or illness, we understand the need for flexibility. To qualify for rescheduling or a refund, please notify us at least 12 hours before your scheduled departure.
- Refund Timeframe: A refund takes 3-10 business days to reflect on the orignal form or payment.
- No Shows: Passengers who don’t notify us at least 2 hours before their scheduled pick-up or are 15+ minutes late without notifying us.
