The Sibun Forest Reserve in the Maya mountains of Belize is known to have a high population of Jaguars making this a prime location for potential sightseeings
Exploring the Jaguar trail provides a unique experience and a chance to connect with nature and experience the wonders of the Belizean Rainforest. This is known as a home to wildlife including howler monkeys, spider monkeys, tapirs, numerous bird species and many cave systems in which we explore.
Day 1:
Trek through the jungles of Belize to Camp 1, as you learn about the flora and fauna.
- Set camp (we use sleeping hammocks with mosquito net)
- Set Jungle motion cameras on strategic locations to capture photographs of wildlife during night time
- Night hike for nocturnal wildlife spotting (optional)
Day 2:After breakfast, we will trek to the second camp, (creek side camp). Amidst this tropical paradise, tucked away in the heart of the jungle are 2 remarkable dry Caves that we will explore, where history, nature, and pure exhilaration intertwine. Brace yourself as we uncover the secrets of these ancient treasures and discover this new highlight of our Jaguar Trail jungle trek and caving expedition.
Day 3:Morning Birding before breakfast (open)
Swimming (open)
Pack up and then trek through citrus farms towards the exit. We will review SD cards from cameras for exciting photographs of wildlife.
